What is Horde?
Horde is more than just webmail. It is a complete collaboration environment with:

- Notes (Mnemo) - Notes

Logging into Horde
Getting access
You can usually reach Horde at:
- webmail.yourdomain.com (then choose Horde)
- yourdomain.com/horde
- Through your hosting control panel
Login credentials
- Username: Your full email address
- Password: Your email account password
Using email in Horde
The main screen
After logging in, you see the email screen with:
- Left sidebar: Folders (Inbox, Sent, Trash)
- Middle: List of emails
- Right side: Preview (if enabled)
Writing a new email
- Click on Compose or New Message
- Enter the recipient in To
- Type the subject
- Write your message
- Click Send
Adding attachments
- In the compose screen, click Browse
- Select a file
- Click Attach to add the attachment
- Repeat for multiple attachments
Using the Horde calendar
Opening the calendar
Click on Calendar in the top menu (sometimes under a dropdown menu).
Adding an appointment
- Click on a date and time, or click New Event
- Enter the appointment title
- Set date and time
- Optional: add a reminder
- Click Save
Sharing your calendar
You can sync your Horde calendar with your phone via CalDAV:
- Go to Calendar > Calendars > My Calendars
- Click on your calendar
- Find the CalDAV link
- Add this to your phone calendar app
Managing contacts
Opening contacts
Click on Address Book in the menu.
Adding a new contact
- Click on New Contact
- Enter name and email address
- Optional: add phone number and address
- Click Save
Importing contacts
- Go to Address Book
- Click on Import/Export
- Choose Import
- Upload a CSV or vCard file
Tasks and notes
Tasks (to-do list)
- Click on Tasks in the menu
- Click on New Task
- Enter the task
- Optionally set a deadline
- Click Save
Notes
- Click on Notes
- Click on New Note
- Type your note
- Click Save
Common problems
Problem: Horde is slow
Possible causes:
- Many emails in Inbox
- Many browser extensions active
Solution:
- Move old emails to folders
- Try a different browser
- Clear browser cache (Ctrl+Shift+Delete)
Problem: Cannot log in
Solution:
- Check if you use the full email address
- Watch for capitals in password
- Reset password via hosting control panel
Problem: Attachments not arriving
Possible causes:
- File too large
- File type blocked by recipient
Solution:
- Compress files as ZIP
- Use WeTransfer for large files
Problem: Calendar not syncing

- Check the CalDAV URL
